Program Description

Opius provides an SMS-based service that allows parents and guardians to receive information about their children's school activities, including homework assignments, grades, schedules, and other educational updates. By opting into this service, you agree to receive automated text messages from Opius.

How to Opt-In

To receive SMS notifications from Opius:

1. Create an account at opius.dev
2. Go to Settings and add your school login credentials
3. In the SMS Notifications section, enter your mobile phone number
4. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone
5. Once verified, you can text questions to (844) 992-1518

Message Types & Frequency

You may receive the following types of messages:

• Verification codes when linking your phone number
• Responses to your questions about homework, grades, and schedules
• Error notifications if we cannot access your school information

Message frequency varies based on your usage. You will only receive messages in response to your inquiries or for account verification. We do not send promotional or marketing messages.

How to Opt-Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:

• Texting STOP to (844) 992-1518
• Going to Settings in the app and removing your phone number

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS from Opius. You can opt back in at any time by re-adding your phone number in Settings.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan. Opius does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may apply standard messaging rates.

Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is supported on most major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are kept confidential. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is only used to deliver Opius services. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Terms of Service

By using Opius SMS services, you agree to these terms and our general Terms of Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
